I have nearly finished this commission and I just need to add a few fine details to the painting. I love working at my easel but when I need to add delicate details such as whiskers on a fox, eyes and individual leaves on a tree, I find it easier to work at my drawing board. It has taken me time to build up the depth of colour and it’s a fine balance to create the deep colours and hues without over doing it.
