For this painting I wanted the colours to be soft and wistful to give the feeling of yearning to be by the sea. I am imagining the sea breeze blowing the translucent curtain through the window and wafting the flowers on the window sill. The rippling waves are echoing the the folds in the curtains and the sky is atmospheric and moody. I am really looking forward to finishing this painting later this week.
